The emissions level denotes the regulations that the vehicle meets.

US10 means that this vehicle meets the US exhaust emissions standard for 2010. Canada follows the same regulations.

The model year denotes approximately when the vehicle was produced and usually coincides with the design revisions for the time period.

Note that model year may not coincide with the actual build date.In this case it does.
