Xhorse Multi-Prog works well with Xhorse XDMPR8GL MQB RH850/V850 Adapter to read MQB48/MQB49/5C dashboards no need to cut wire or lift pin. The encrypt IMMO data read out can be used to make dealer key and add key by Xhorse VVDI2 key programmer.

Main steps to program MQB RH850/V850 key:

Step 1: Connect device, MQB RH850/V850 dashboard

Step 2: Read chip data by Multi Prog

Step 3: Make dealer key and add key by Xhorse VVDI2

In detail…

Here take 1402 instrument as an example.

Step 1: Connect devices, 1402 dashboard and PC

Run Multi- Prog software

Select Device>> 1402>> MQB-LOCK (R7F701402)- READ (VW-> MQB)>> Detail

Check Connection diagram

Follow the diagram to remove the 8 capacitors using a tweezer and heat gun

Scrape of the PCB mask before soldering the GND wire to the soldering point

Solder the wires of Xhorse MQB RH850/V850 Cable to the corresponding position on 1402 dashboard PCB according to the diagram

Secure the wires with acetate tape

Connect MQB RH850/V850 Adapter to Multi-Prog Programmer

Connect Multi-Prog and VVDI2 Programmer to the PC using different USB cables separately

Supply 12V power to Multi Prog as well

Step 2: Read chip data

Click on “Crack Reading”

Decode the chip and read the chip data successfully (time taken: 4min 1s 583ms)

Click on “Save file” to save the chip data

Step 3: Read IMMO data by VVDI2 software

Open VVDI2 software and select “VW”

Select Key Learn>> MQB platform instrument immobilizer>> Instrument with locked NEC35xx (MQB48, VDO/JCI)

Click on “Decode immodata”

Click on “Yes” to load the encrypt data read by Xhorse Multi-Prog

Open the file

Save the IMMO data file after decoding

Then you can use the data to make dealer key and add key in sequence.

Multi-Prog Programmer and VVDI2 also program key for the MQB RH850/V850 R7F701407 dashboard perfectly.
