Purpose of the Test:

The Hydrocarbon Dosing Control Valve Test activates the aftertreatment dosing control valve to verify its operation. During the test, you must visually inspect the valve to ensure it is functioning correctly.

Test Procedure:

Open JPRO diagnostic software and select Hydrocarbon Dosing Control Valve Test.
Press Enter or click the Start button.
A test dialog will appear on the screen.
Click Start to activate the valve. The test runs for a maximum of 5 seconds.
Observe the valve during the test to confirm proper operation.
If needed, click Stop to halt the test before the 5-second limit. Otherwise, the test will stop automatically.
Once completed, click Exit to return to the test selection menu.

Following these steps ensures the dosing control valve is functioning as intended, helping maintain optimal engine performance.
