Using Autel J2534 with JLR Pathfinder and Topix Cloud

Question 1: Can I use Autel VCI J2534 DoIP interface like Maxiflash Elite with JLR Topix Cloud? Or do I need JLR SDD DoIP?

Question 2: Has anyone used Autel J2534 with JLR Pathfinder?

Yes, some users have successfully used Autel J2534 devices with JLR SDD, but compatibility with JLR Pathfinder requires the DoIP protocol. Pathfinder needs DoIP to communicate effectively with the vehicle.

Autel J2534 with OEM Software: With an Autel J2534 device, you can connect and program with OEM software. Ensure you have the Maxi PC Suite installed on your laptop and register your device to connect to your JLR vehicle via the Autel J2534.

Install JLR SDD 163.
Reboot and open the software until it prompts for auto VIN detection.
Plug the J2534 Autel device into the USB port.
Click auto VIN detection to verify recognition of the J2534 interface.

Ensuring your Autel J2534 device offers DoIP support will enable full compatibility with both the JLR SDD and the JLR Pathfinder, allowing for efficient diagnostics and programming.
