Overview of DTC P006E

VNT Operation: The LEA continuously moves the nozzle blades to control turbocharger speed and boost pressure.
LEA Monitoring: The LEA contains a sensor that tracks the movement of the actuator and compares the indicated values with the actual nozzle blade positions.
Wiping Operation: This process occurs when the engine is stopped to remove soot and oil buildup from the guide vane area and ensure the turbocharger operates smoothly without mechanical obstructions.
DTC Setting Conditions
Detection Criteria:
Ignition Key ON: The DTC is detected when the ignition is switched on.
Battery Voltage: The voltage must be within the 10-16 V range.
Engine Condition: The engine is either stopped or running at speeds above 500 rpm for at least 5 seconds.
Judgment Criteria:
Low Power Supply Voltage: The DTC is set if the power supply to the LEA drops below 8 V for more than 6 seconds.
System Response When DTC P006E is Set
MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp): Turns ON.
SVS (Service Vehicle Soon) Light: Remains OFF.
Engine Performance: Power is limited due to backup (fail-safe) functions.
