Today, we will demonstrate how to use OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 with C4-06 Adapter to decrypt the encrypted MCU D70F3525 data of a 2017 SKODA dashboard.
First, let’s remove the cover of this dashboard.
Then, open the IMMO function interface of OBDSTAR G3.
Select VW and the latest version
Tap [MQB METER]
If connected to the vehicle via OBD, the system can directly identify whether it is type 5A or 5C (currently only supports type 5A, type 5C is not supported yet)
Select [All Keys Lost]
Select [Read IMMO Module Data] and [Read Dashboard IMMO Data]
Check the dashboard MCU type, which is [D70F3525]
Carefully observe the surrounding components. The appearance does not match, let’s switch to another option for verification.
After careful verification, this dashboard is the V2 type
Select [D70F3525-V2 (A2C81589600)]
Follow the wiring diagram to solder the wires properly
Reminder:
Before soldering, take anti-static protection measures to prevent static electricity from damaging the MCU.
Ensure the solder joints are smooth and full to avoid cold solder joints
After completing this part of the soldering, proceed to solder the red C4-06-C01 board
Note:
Do not change the length or material of these two wires, only use the provided ones, as changing them may lead to decryption failure or even damage the MCU.
Start reading the IMMO data
Read PFLASH data successfully, save the file without renaming it
Read DFLASH data successfully, save the file using its original name as well
Tap [Parse IMMO Data]
Follow the device prompts to import the PFLASH and DFLASH data
Parse the IMMO data and CS code successfully by OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 Key Programmer.
