OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool is able to read and write EEPROM, dflash and flash data on Ford LEAR MC9S12XEP768/MC9S12XEP768 V2 in bench mode. OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and P004 ECU Clone Jumper are required to work together. Only takes about 2 Mins!
How to do:
Connect the 12V2A charger to DC706. Keep charging and communicating during the process.
It requires internet to perform the ECU read & write functions. Connect to server and ensure the internet connection is normal.
After that, operate on OBDSTAR DC706 tablet.
Tap ECU Flasher>> All>> BODY/OTHER>> BODY/OTHER software>> BRAND>> FORD
Enter 68 in the search box to quickly find the ECU model
Follow the Pinout in the tablet to connect DC706 ECU Tool and Ford BCM with P004 adapter & jumper and main cable
After the harness connection is completed, tap “Start” and then tap “Connect” to connect the server
Switch ignition off, and then press the switch button on OBDSTAR P004 adapter (turn the ignition on)
Connect ECU successfully
Read and save eeprom, dflash and flash (MC9S12XEP768) data separately
Select the original eeprom, dflash and flash (MC9S12XEP768) data to write into the new Ford BCM
Disconnect and switch the ignition off

Kindly notice:
If OBDSTAR DC706 fails to read Ford Lear MC9S12XEP768 BCM on bench, for example, it cannot get it to communicate with the Ford Lear BCM, and neither does V2 black housing, please try to use the following methods to solve.
Method 1:
The old version ground pin is 1 pin across.
You can use Pinout 1 or Pinout 3 to read this Ford module.
The only difference between two pinouts is the ground PIN.
Method 2:
Use I/O terminal pinout which shows gnd 1 pin across.
One customer tried this and worked no issues.
