How to Use Super ICOM Pro N3+ J2534 /DOIP One Key Switch Function

Super ICOM Pro N3+ J2534 /DOIP One Key Switch Function Use Guide:

Super ICOM Pro N3+=BWM special inspection+J2534+DOIP+WIFI

Super ICOM Pro N3+ supports both DOIP and J2534, and has a one-key switch button to freely switch between ICOM software and J2534/DoIP software.

Super ICOM Pro N3+ can use the J2534 protocol to read through after switching with one key. It is compatible with the 6-pin and 14-pin CAN communication and the 7-pin K-line communication of the OBD port. It can use Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Honda, Land Rover and other special inspection software with J2534 interface.

N3+ also can use DOIP network communication protocol after one-key switching, which can solve the problem that Volkswagen 5054 and Mercedes-Benz C4 cannot test new cars without DOIP.

Here are the tips and notices you need to know.

For Mercedes- Benz

It needs to activate J2534/DOIP authorization, install J2534 switching software, and install Xentry software. Other vehicles do not need.

Step 1: Activate J2534/DOIP authorization

Provide the Serial number of your Super ICOM Pro N3+ BMW diagnostic tool to our customer service to open the J2534/DOIP function. It’s free before October 1st, 2023.

Step 2: Install J2534 switching software

After activation, install J2534 switching software to work with.

You can use J2534 switching software if you have. If not, contact us to help with remote installation and activation from the factory.

Step 3: Install Xentry software

After the J2534 switching software is installed and activated, you will receive a J2534 configuration tool to switch the device to DoIP mode. Then you can diagnose Mercedes Benz with MB SD C4 Xentry software.

To enable DoIP Mode, you also need to long press the one-key button on the ICOM Pro N3+, same as J2534 Passthru mode.

For Honda/TOYOTA/ GM GDS2/VW, etc…

Can switch the protocol to use directly, no need authorization!

But need to install JLR Mongooses Passthru driver (J2534 MongoosePro ISO Setup).

Download and install J2534 software (Toyota techstream, GM GDS2, Honda HDS, VAG ODIS etc,)

Download and install N3+ J2534 driver

Connect N3+ with USB cable, long press N3+ switch button for 3s, wait until USB and WiFi indicators on the main unit flash.

Run J2534 software, and select VCI type as mongoose vci.

Software is ready to use.
