How to Solve VNCI JLR DoIP Cannot be Recognized by SDD Software?

Sometimes, you may find that the SDD software does not recognize the VNCI JLR DoIP device when you installing the SDD and JLR driver software. Don’t worry! The main cause of this problem is that the SDD software system disables VNCI JLR DoIP. It’s easy to solve it by modifying the SDD configuration file.

Step1:

Install the SDD software and JLR device manager

Step2:

Open “C:\\Program Files (x86)\\JLR\\SDD\\Runtime” folder

Find “GatewayManager.ini” file and edit it.

Before editing the file, Device5 = JLR-DOIP

After editing the file, the device5= JLR-DOIP will turn to Device8 = JLR-DOIP

Step3:

Open “C:\\Program Files (x86)\\JLR\\IDS\\Runtime” folder

Find “GatewayManager.ini” file and edit it

The operations in this step are the same as step 2.

Save the both files and run your SDD software, and then your SDD software will be able to recognize VNCI JLR DoIP diagnostic tool normally.
