Here UOBDII.com shares the solution for Xhorse Condor XC MINI PLUS II probe or cutter which has abnormal conductivity.
Customer problem:
Normally the XC Mini Plus 2 machine works consuming 70-90 watts. When the engine slows down the consumption drops to 20 watts. I really tried to find the cause of the breakdown and fix it, but I can’t do it anymore. It shows “error code: 6” and “Error code: 56” as shown in the figures below. Please give me a solution.
Solution:
When the Xhorse Key Cutting Machine is decoding or cutting keys, error 6 appears on the screen, indicating that the current probe or cutter has abnormal conductivity.
Please click on the conductivity measurement function interface to perform relevant tests.
Follow steps 1, 2, and 3 to enter the conductivity measurement interface.
Settings>> Machine Test>> Electrical Conductivity Measurement
Click start to test. Follow the prompts to connect only one of the probes or cutters.
If both the probe and cutter light up green at the same time (indicated by the arrow in the picture), and display OK status, indicating that the current probe and cutter are in a short circuit state. Please refer to the following page for the solution.
Check if there are any iron filings around the three screws above the probe (indicated by the arrows in the left picture), try to clean the surrounding iron filings, and then test if the conductivity measurement is normal.
If the probe and cutter still light up with a short circuit at the same time, remove the three screws above, clean the iron filings around the hole, and reinstall them.
During installation, please note that the screws should not be turned too tightly, as this may cause the insulation black plastic ring on the screws to break, resulting in a short circuit between the cutter and probe.
Click on start to test. Before the probe starts connecting as prompted, the green light will directly light up at the probe position (indicated by the arrow in the left picture).
Display OK status, indicating that the current probe is in a short circuit state, it is necessary to check whether the conductive wires of the probes on the probe disk are damaged (indicated by the arrow in the right figure). If the cable is damaged, please wrap it with insulating tape.
