How to Restore Benz ME9.7 ECU Data From Original to Replacement

For a auto repair mechanic,it is necessary to get the skill of restore Benz ECU data from original to a new replacement.When Benz original ECU was damaged,but you can read out the original data from it.You would better to replace a new one,and copy the original data to it.

What You Need?

New Mercedes ME9.7 ECU ECM

Ktag V7.020 /KTM100

Renew cable (No need to remove ECU PCB to read data file)

Procedures:

1.Remove original ECU PCB,and solder wires on the PCB to connect to KTAG.

2.Run KTAG to read out original ECU data

3.Follow below wires diagram to connect KTAG V7.020 ECU programmer to Mercedes ME9.7 ECU

Run KTAG software to write the ECU data file read out on step 1 into the new Mercedes ME9.7 ECU.

Note:Here you can use the renew cable to write directly, instead of dismantling the new ECU to write the data.
