How to Do Chrysler Anti-theft Key Matching with Launch X431 IMMO Plus/Elite?

Launch X-431 Anti-theft Key Matching Tool (X431 IMMO Plus/X431 IMMO Elite) with Chrysler Anti-theft diagnostic software can perform functions such as key matching, anti-theft module replacement, and password reading for Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge series, and ECUs cover wireless control module, radio frequency hub, body control module and more systems. Here takes 2016 Chrysler Ram 1500 Radio Frequency Hub- Tire as a demonstration.

The procedures:

Connect Launch X431 IMMO key programmer and vehicle

Tap IMMO>> CHRYSLER V10.03>> Immobilizer>> Automatically Search

Check if there are any other OBD communication components are installed on the vehicle, remove it if yes and then perform diagnosis.

Identify the VIN and the vehicle is 2016 RAM 1500

Tap Immobilizer System Detection>> Immobilizer System Selection>> RFH/TPMS (Radio Frequency Hub- Tire)>> Special function

Perform the functions as below.

Step 1: Read Immobilizer Password (PIN Code)-intelligent Key/FOBIK

Step 2: Erase Ignition FOBIKs

Step 3: View Ignition (IGNM/KIN) Part Information

Step 4: Program Ignition FOBIKs

Step 5: View Ignition (IGNM/KIN) Part Information

Step 6: BCM (Body Control Module) Replaced

Step 7: Program Tire Sensor Identifications

Step 1: Read Immobilizer Password (PIN Code)-intelligent Key/FOBIK

Perform this function may change the state of the vehicle. Please exercise caution!

Switch ignition off and turn on emergency flasher.

Read the password is 3721.

Step 2: Erase Ignition FOBIKs

This function erases all ignition FOBIKs currently programmed to this vehicle. Place the start switch in the run state.

Enter the Vehicle PIN (personal identification number). The PIN can be found by authorized personnel on manufacturer’s website.

Verify the PIN

Step 3: View Ignition (IGNM/KIN) Part Information

The PIN unlock was successful. Continue to erase the ignition FOBIKs.

All ignition FOBIKs have been erased by Launch X-431 IMMO Plus/Elite for this vehicle. Change start switch to lock state.

Step 4: Program Ignition FOBIKs

The FOBIKs being programmed must be inside the vehicle near the center console during this procedure. Make sure that there are no wireless devices (Notebook, scan tool, cell phone) within close proximity of the FOBIKs being programmed.

Place the start switch in the ignition lock state.

Enter vehicle PIN and verify it is correct. (same as step 2)

Step 5: View Ignition (IGNM/KIN) Part Information

Have the FOBIK to be programmed readily available in your hands. Once you continue you will need to get into the vehicle and press the unlock button within 30 seconds. The key fobik should be in the vehicle near the center console when the unlock button is pressed and remain there until it is programmed.
