Diagzone Xdiag Subscription Renew, LAUNCH LTR-01 RF Sensor, Thinkdiag Renew , Scania SDP3 Installation
In our previous post, we introduced how to replace Xhorse XTPMS Sensor by VVDI Key Tool Max Pro by the learning method. (Click here to review) Today, we’ll explore an even simpler and faster method: Copying.
What is Copying?
Copying involves transferring the ID number from the original sensor to a new one. Once copied, the new sensor can directly replace the original—no additional programming is needed after installation.
How to Copy the Sensor ID
1.If the original sensor is accessible, check its shell for the printed ID number.
Tap “Program”→ Select “Manual Create”.
Enter the original sensor’s ID number → Tap “OK” to complete the copy.
2.If the ID is unclear or missing, use Xhorse Key Max Pro to activate the sensor and retrieve the ID.
3.If the original sensor is dead, replace its battery first to activate and retrieve the ID.
OBD Copying (For Vehicles with OBD Support)
For vehicles like the Toyota Corolla (which supports OBD communication), the process is even easier:
We also need to use this Xhorse Universal Sensor XTPMS and TPMS function of Key Tool Max Pro.
Connect Xhorse VVDI Key Max Pro to the OBD port.
Enter the TPMS function → Select the correct vehicle model and year.
The interface will display four options:
Active
Diagnostics
Program
Learn
(If the vehicle doesn’t support OBD, the “Diagnostics” option won’t appear.)
Tap “OBD Read ID” to retrieve the sensor IDs.
Select “OBD Copy”, place a new sensor, and start programming.
Repeat until all four sensors are copied.
Once copied, install the new sensors, and they’ll work immediately without further programming.
Conclusion
Sensor copying is a quick and efficient solution for TPMS replacement—especially when the original IDs are available. With tools like Xhorse XDTPM1EN TPMS Sensor and Key Max Pro, the process becomes seamless, saving time and effort.
