How to Activate KESS3 DynoDrive function?
DynoDrive is available for KESS3 Master and KESS3 Slave users.
Purchse DynoDrive alone, no need subscription.
You can buy Alientech KESS3 hardware and only DynoDrive without any protocol activation or add it to your existing KESS3 Protocols.
Once purchased, Alientech Suite will display “DynoDrive” feature on the menu bar, and you can use it forever, not 12 months only!
The DynoDrive feature can be activated by all users with KESS3 and does NOT require an active subscription.
The DynoDrive can also be activated on KESS3 Hardware WITHOUT any active protocol package. This means that customers can purchase KESS3 with DynoDrive activation to perform performance testing and use other ECU programming equipment to program the control unit.
Add DynoDrive activation to configure your KESS V3 Master/Slave version, or get KESS3 hardware only with DynoDrive activation, thus configuring the tool even just to support power testing. This allows integration a third version, KESS3 DynoDrive, alongside the existing KESS3 Master and KESS3 Slave versions.

1.Kess3 has a GPS and an accelerator. RPM etc via OBD. Using the OBD port and data from the KESS3’s integrated GPS module, you can export and compare the power and torque values of a car.
2.DynoDrive is not free for existing customers. You have to pay for activation.
3.DynoDrive is just a virtual Dyno no dataloging function.
How to use KESS3 DynoDrive function?
After the DynoDrive function is activated, you can use it to work with Alientech Kess V3 ECU Programmer.
WARNING:
DYNO DRIVE SHOULD NOT BE USED ON PUBLIC ROADS AND HIGHWAYS!!!
Run Alientech Suite software, input the car model you want in the search box
For example: EDC17C60 Peugeot partner
Select the corresponding car model- Peugeot Partner (2nd) (2015) 1.6 BlueHDi 55KW BOSCH EDC17C60
Click “Continue”
Select “DynoDrive” and “Continue”
It will ask you to see the manual or not.
You can confirm to check and you can see the detailed instructions there.
Click the yellow icon to agree to the processing of location area
Click “Continue”
Connect KESS V3 ECU Programmer via the OBD cable to the diagnosis socket, turn on the vehicle’s engine and select “Check”
Parameter check in progress… Do not turn off the engine and do not disconnect the cable.
Verification completed successfully, you can carry out the power test.
Select “Continue” to proceed
Enter the data marked correctly. You may enter a fuel volume estimate that is not 100% accurate, recommend not over-rounding.
Then click “START TEST”
Starting power test…
Reach 1500 RPM in third dear.
Press the spacebar and maintain a constant speed
At the first beep, decelerate to 1400.
At the second beep, accelerate to the limiter, then put into neutral wait for the third beep.
Power test performed correctly with Alientech KESS V3
Finally, login the DynoDrive account, and click “History” to check the corresponding power test report.
