Something about MB HU6:
The HU6 (HEADUNIT6) system is a highly integrated in-vehicle infotainment and instrument control system in Mercedes-Benz models. The Mercedes-Benz HU6 system is typically installed in recent Mercedes-Benz models, such as:
2019- W247 A-Class, B-Class, CLA-Class, GLA-Class, GLB-Class
2019-W177 CLA-Class, GLA-Class
2019-W167 GLE-Class, GL-Class
2020- W213 E-Class, CLS-Class
2021- H243 EQA and X243 EQB
The instrument computer types of Mercedes-Benz HU6 are divided into three kinds:
A167, A213, and A247.
All of which are encrypted chips: R7F701403.
The locations of Mercedes-Benz HU6 clusters are as follows:
A-Class, GLE-Class and GLS-Class: usually have the repair area on the left lower part of the steering wheel guard plate.
E-Class: usually under the steering wheel.
B-Class, CLA-Class, GLA-Class, GLB-Class, GL-Class, H243 EQA and X243 EQB: usually under the driver’s seat.

How to repair Benz HU6 R7F701403 cluster mileage by CGDI CG100X?
Requirement:
CG100X Programmer
CG100X Pro V2 Adapter
CG100X D1 Adapter
CG100X V1.7.1.0 or newer version
Network connection
Highlight:
No soldering
No lift pin
No need filter
Step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Record Original Mileage
Before starting, note the original mileage. In this case, it’s 564.1 km.
Step 2: Remove and Inspect the HU6 Instrument Module
Remove the HU6 instrument module from the vehicle.
Disassemble the module and check both front and back
Step 3: Identify and Connect to the Processor
The mileage data is stored in the R7F701403 (encrypted) processor.
Open CG100X software and select:
Dashboard→ Europe → Mercedes → GLE W167 → 2019 → R7F701403 (encrypted)
Check the wiring diagram for proper connections.
Step 4: Connect the Module to CG100X
Use the Pro V2 Adapter to connect the Benz HU6 module to CG100X.
Remove three capacitors (220nf each) around the processor as shown in the wiring diagram.
Connect the D1 adapter (Do not extend the wire harness).
Provide DC 12V power supply.
Step 5: Perform Mileage Correction
Start the operation
Decrypt the chip & chip ID
Read and save DFlash & PFlash data
CG100X will automatically calculate the mileage online
Input the new mileage (e.g., 2,345 km)
Write the new mileage to the module
Step 6: Verify and Reassemble
Confirm the new mileage by reading the data again (should show 2,345 km).
Resolder the three capacitors to restore the module to its original state.
Reinstall the HU6 module back into the vehicle.
Mileage correction is successful!
