CG FC-200 Read Chevrolet ST10 ME7.9.9 in Boot Mode

CG FC-200 ECU Programmer added Bosch ST10 series engine boot modes including M7.9.7, ME7.9.71, ME7.9.7, ME7.4.5, ME7.9.9, MED7.6.1, and MSE3 on June 28^th, 2022. In this post, you will learn how to read EEPROM and Flash on Chevrolet S10 2.4 Control Unit Module ME7.9.9.

Path: run FC200 software, select Chevrolet, and quickly search ECU ME7.9.9 (Bosch ME7.9.9 ST10F275)

Follow the pinout to connect FC200 and Chevrolet ECU

In the boot mode, use two wires with a tip as if it has a normal adapter respecting things

Also connect almost 14v power supply.

After connection, identify the ECU, the chip read out is ST10F275.

This mode has no protection, start memory reading.

Read and save EEPROM

The software prompts “The current ECU type does not support the modification of VIN, are you willing to provide Flash files to assist in development?” click “Yes” to start reading Flash data

It takes a little longer to read flash data, just keep patient until the process is completed.

Then save Flash data.

CG FC200 is much faster reading ST10 flash than other devices.

Read and backup flash data successfully.
