This tool has nearly paid for itself the first time I used it. Helped me diagnose a transmission in limp mode. While the OBD2 was telling me it was a faulty TCC circuit. And no matter what I replaced, probed, traced or redit, i coukd not fix it. This tool got in to the depths of the system. Showed me things i would have never thiught of. Turns out the TCM had a bad voltage output going to the transmission. It would drop voltage when engine started. I should have bought a tool like this a long time ago. I’m not a mechanic by trade but have done all my own car repairs since I could drive. I bought this specific one because it should do everything I will come across. I know there are cheaper ones that do simular. But I like things with newer features. Like operating system, cpu, ram and storage. That’s way it should last longer I to the future.
