Autel IM608 II Programming for 2022 Honda Passport – All Keys Lost

Today, we have a 2022 Honda Passport with all keys lost. We will use the Autel IM608 PRO2 to program a Universal Key for this vehicle. Let’s start with key generation.

1. Generate Key

Universal key >> Accept >> Universal key generation >> North America >> Honda >> Type by model >> Passport >> 2022 >> Honda Passport 2019–2022 >> Generate universal key

Key generation is successful.

2. Program New Key

IMMO >> Accept >> Honda >> Manual selection >> Passport >> Smart key >> Push to start >> OK >> Control unit >> Keyless system (Honda)

Is the ignition turned on by pressing the Start button twice?
No.

Press and hold the Start button.
The ignition is switched on. Please release the engine start/stop switch.

Click “All keys lost”.

Autel IM608 II Registration Conditions:

There are no DTCs.
All keyless remotes to be registered must be present. One keyless remote must be in the vehicle.

Notes for registering:

Minimize noise sources during keyless remote registration. Turn OFF systems like the navigation and audio.
Keep the diagnostic tool about 1m (3 feet) away from the keyless remote.
Close all windows, sunroofs, and doors.

Please turn the ignition switch off:
(Don’t press the foot brake, just press the engine start/stop button.)

Place the key to be learned in the vehicle and remove all other keys to a location more than 5m away.

Is the ignition turned on by pressing the Start button twice?
No.

Press and hold the Start button.
The ignition is switched on. Please release the engine start/stop switch.

How many keyless access remotes do you want to keep?
1.

Please turn the ignition switch off:
(Don’t press the foot brake, just press the engine start/stop button.)

Please turn the ignition switch on:
(Don’t press the foot brake, just press the engine start/stop button twice.)

Test the new key, and it should work.

Done.
