Autel IM508 IM608 Series Device Real-Name Authentication Upgrade in Europe

In an effort to improve product security and safeguard the rights of our end customers, Autel will be implementing a phased real-name authentication process for AUTEL IMMO devices (IM508, IM608, IM608 PRO, IM608 II, IM508S, KM100) in Europe.

Check the upgrade details below:

Phase 1: Autel ID Account Verification

Implementation:All IMMO devices must be re-logged in to ensure the device owner’s Autel ID matches the device. Devices that have not completed the Autel ID binding process will become inactive.
Effective Date:April 15

Phase 2: Real-Name Authentication for All-Keys-Lost (AKL) Function

Implementation:When utilizing the All-Keys-Lost function for key programming, users will be required to complete and verify their personal information. This information must be valid within European countries and accurately reflect the user’s details.
Customers who have already submitted their personal information will need to verify their identity every time they use the AKL function using one of the following methods:

Account password
SMS verification code
Email verification code
Two-factor authentication
